Please HELP Us!
Rural WV can be a tough place to survive if you are a dog. So many are uncared for and abandoned - the overpopulation is immense. The pounds and rescues are continuously overwhelmed by the number of homeless dogs each month. Many of them do not survive simply due to lack of space and not enough homes.
We received a call for help from a small rescue in central WV. A lone woman has attempted to help the forgotten dogs of her community, but when no one else volunteered to help on a daily basis, she quickly became overwhelmed by the number of dogs that were dropped at her doorstep each week. With her intake number growing too large for one person to handle, she pleaded with the rescue community to help her so that she would not have to turn the dogs back to the pounds.
Candy and Coco have arrived safely to continue their search for a real forever home. More are scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks. Please be their chance to know what a loving indoor home is like.
