Don’t Miss the 28th Annual Walk for Animals!

Join your fellow animal lovers at Danbury Animal Welfare Society’s 28th Annual Walk for Animals. Your participation in this fundraising walkathon helps us provide shelter, food, medical care, and love to animals in need.

People and pets welcome! The Walk for Animals is a non-competitive leisurely walk for the entire family. In addition to fundraising, the event features vendors, raffles, games, and more. T-shirts and bandanas will be given to all two- and four-legged participants.

Adults:                  $20
Kids aged 5-17:    $10

Start Times & Course Information

The Walk will kick off at 11:00 AM. Walkers will follow a leisurely course through downtown Bethel.


You can help make a difference in the lives of animals by fundraising for the Walk for Animals. Setting up your personal fundraising page is simple. Just follow the instructions provided after you complete your online registration. You can also collect donations offline using a fundraising form. We ask that all registrants raise a minimum of $100 for our cause, which directly benefits the animals in our shelter and helps us continue our life-saving work!
