DAWS' responsibility goes beyond the walls of our facility.

Our veterinary clinic offers a Trap-Neuter and Return program that contributes to the quality of life and helps control the homeless cat population.

The Clinic also offers spay and neuter services at a drastically reduced cost for qualified pet owners, with special attention to the plight of Pit-Bull breed dogs. An estimated 2,800 Pit Bulls die each day because they have no home.

The goal of DAWS' new ASAP Program - Assistance and Support to Alter Pits, is to reduce the number of homeless and unwanted Pit Bulls euthanized each year.
